Reporting to Head of Strategy, this role is pivotal in the development of e-Commerce DTC strategies and acceleration of brands across the digital space.

key responsibilities:

  • Immerse yourself within our client’s world, clearly understanding their business problem, goals and how that can translate into a human truth and solution 
  • Develop insight-led strategic appraisal decks, compelling propositions and roadmaps to delivery, for clients across domestic and international markets 
  • Download and brief internal teams on strategies, to achieve their full alignment ahead of client buy-in. Ability to write simple yet thought-provoking creative briefs 
  • Deliver and facilitate engaging brand workshops with the support of the creative team, to present brand and digital approaches 
  • Proactively collaborate with internal team of specialists to define KPIs and help to deliver actionable insight and incremental improvements, for ongoing clients 
  • Interrogate and validate client briefs, through strong collaboration and by asking the right questions to ensure the most fitting strategies will be delivered 
  • Create communication frameworks in collaboration with the Campaign Manager to Ensure all client outputs across marketing, trading, creative and dev align with e-Commerce strategy and roadmap of activity 
  • Proven experience of delivering commercial results based on great insight and strategic direction  
  • Remain updated with the digital landscape, collaborating with the Researcher in conducting monthly trends reports   

Strategist skills required

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a client facing strategist  
  • A keen collaborator, with a strong focus on building relationships internally and externally 
  • Experience in managing multiple clients simultaneously 
  • Great writing skills. Can write with focus, creativity and can create engaging presentations 
  • Articulate and confident, with good communication skills  
  • An advocate for strategy, who can take others on the journey

Location:Office based – We’re conveniently located on King Street in Manchester City Centre. Hours 9-5, (9-4 Friday) with flexibility.
